Styling and image-management are vital in the arena of visual media. This program will cover essential professional make-up techniques for film and camera, including how best to maintain make-up and hair continuity through the length of the film production or shoot, and how to manage make-up under different lighting conditions. You will also be given guidance on tailoring your make-up and styling design based on an analysis of the client’s facial features and proportions, as well as the subject-matter for the film or camera.
Hands-on participation is expected: using the techniques covered in this program, you will be asked to design and apply full-face make-up and styling for different on-screen looks.
This program is intended for current or aspiring professional make-up artists who are seeking to further develop their skillset in answer to the increasing demands from the beauty and media industries, and is also open to those in the general public with an interest in make-up and styling.
Course details and duration
This program runs for a total of 16 hours (2 full days or 4 half days), and is offered in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
